Celebrate the birth of the Buddha under the picturesque cherry trees! On April 8, Buddha’s Birthday, Yokeiji Temple will hold the annual Kōtan-e memorial service starting at 8:00 AM, with free sweet tea (amacha) offered to visitors. During the festival, the women’s division (fujin-bu) organizes a “sakura café,” and there is also a small market held on the temple grounds!
Access:
Via public transportation: On the Ako line, the nearest station by train is Ōdomi Station (大富駅), about a 20‑minute walk from there.
