The moment the cafe comes into sight, you cannot help but be surprised. This log cafe perched right at the top of a hill and surrounded by abundant greenery definitely stands out from the rest, whether it is due to the stand-alone pink door in the middle of the garden, the cowboy woody trying to get in or simply the hammock from which you can admire an amazing view .
But the surprise just gets bigger when you enter the cafe. The entire place is decorated with vintage american items ranging from jackets of famous american baseball players to R2D2 who seemingly crashed into the wall. And of course, let’s not forget their main mascot: Kuma-san! Kuma-san is a big fluffy teddy bear who seems to simply rule the place and likes taking it is ‘ease’-y.
The food, served in rustic wooden plates, is delicious and full of healthy veggies. Their desserts, however, definitely stand out! Just seeing the pictures of their home-made pancakes will make you drool. A personal recommendation would be the matcha tiramisu. Not too bitter, not too creamy, it has a perfect balance with some hidden treats at the bottom! For more information, have a look at their all English website here.
